Fun stuff and other stories
Zinah's journal should help us to record her life as it happens - and to share it with you. We will try to update it as prompt as we can to share with you those special moments just after they have happened (and why they are hopefully still fresh in our memory!) But as we will not be able to write on a day to day basis it might be that the updating could somewhat differ from the actual time of the event happening.
We have started an "archive" for the page not to become to long and will in future shift the old entries to that folder. If someone happens not have read one of the older entry you can then just go to the archive and pull the text out you haven't read.

Hello everybody, thanks for stopping by!
A lot happened for me since the last entry. I am living in Ottawa now and I love it!
In July after a long flight over the ocean, we arrived in the evening at the Ottawa airport. There, my new friend Anais and her mum were waiting for us.
It was so nice of her to pick me up, it was the first time for us to be in that new big country and it felt good to be welcomed by someone that nice.
She even brought me a nice gift.
We spend the first two months in a hotel suite. It was nice. They had green and delicious apples in the lobby and I got myself one every day! And they had a pool there too.
The first week, we were tourist exploring the neighbourhood and visiting various attractions. Already in the second week mum had to work and I spend everyday with Anais at her house. In the third week, I went to a Home Day Care but I didn't really like it. It wasn't fun there. After only 4 days, I moved to another Home Day Care but that was not that great either. I was missing my friends from the Honeybees Group at the Day Care in Germany. I missed being with other children of my age... Therefore, Mum did everything to find me a spot in a Day Care Centre and now since September I am attending Pre-School at City Hall Day Care Centre! I love it there! I am in the Tiger Group and my friends are Clara, Taylor, Evan, Olivia and a lot more! I love them all!!!! We are doing a lot of crafts, playing in the playground, sleeping, eating and I am learning English and French. I am having a lot of fun there!
I started with (pre-)ballet as well and I love it. Look at me how fine I am looking in my dancing gears.
Well, it is a change here from Germany but all in all, mum and I are having much more time together to spend.
I've got a bike and we are doing rides along the Rideau Canal, we go to playgrounds, during the summer there were a lot of street fests,
I am playing oftern with my friend Anais and I even had my first sleep over at her place! It was fun. As well, I went to the movies for the first
time last month and went to see Ratatouille.
On Canadian Thanksgiving weekend beginning of October, mum took me to see 'Nemo on Ice' in Montreal and it was a great show!
I can't wait to see 'Princesses on Ice' next year March!
